Darău propune o strategie comună de promovare pentru turismul românesc

Irineu Darău, the Minister of Economy, proposes a new strategy for promoting Romanian tourism, emphasizing the need for common rules among local, county, and regional organizations to attract tourists. During the Tourism Consultative Council, he discussed establishing a national Destination Management Organization (DMO) and aims for a clear solution by the end of the year, with operationalization starting in 2027. Darău highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts rather than fragmented actions. The Ministry is also preparing for international trade fairs and plans to collaborate closely with tourism operators. Additionally, he mentioned potential support measures for the industry in 2027 and the need for better data to inform decisions.
