Darău: Nu au existat oferte mai mari pentru Șantierul Naval Mangalia

Interim Economy Minister Irineu Darău announced that Rheinmetall's bid of 138.03 million euros was the highest for the Mangalia Shipyard. The transaction excludes land and docks, which remain state property. The Romanian state is a major creditor, with funds from the sale allocated to various debts. Darău criticized the previous management for accumulating significant debts and lacking orders. The government supports Rheinmetall's acquisition, anticipating job creation and revitalization of the shipyard under the European SAFE program.
