The law, initiated in 2022, permits modifications to protected area boundaries for projects started before 2007. Despite opposition from environmental organizations, the court upheld the law's constitutionality, stating it aligns with legal standards. The law will come into force after presidential promulgation, which must occur within ten days of the court's decision.
