Daniel Zamfir, ministru propus al Economiei: „Punem mare accent pe materialele critice”

Daniel Zamfir, the proposed Minister of Economy, emphasizes the importance of Romania's access to critical materials and their processed export as part of European production chains. He aims to position Romania as a supplier of processed critical materials rather than a raw material exporter. The Ministry has already drafted strategies for exploiting critical resources, focusing on various minerals like graphite, copper, and lithium. Romania possesses significant reserves of these critical materials, which are essential for the EU. However, the country lacks factories for finished products, a rarity in Europe.
