The mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, announced the reopening of traffic on a key route in Bucharest earlier than expected. The works on the Unirii Deck have progressed through all four phases, with the last traffic restrictions expected to be lifted by the start of the new school year. Băluță emphasized that this reopening is part of a larger strategic project aimed at improving urban mobility and infrastructure safety. Currently, 15 out of 19 sections of the new deck have been completed, and additional works are ongoing to enhance drainage systems. The mayor thanked residents for their patience during the construction period.
