Eurowind, a Danish renewable energy group, is set to begin construction of a large solar park in Vișina, Dâmbovița, with a capacity of 220 MW and battery storage. The project will generate around 400 GWh annually, enough to power approximately 150,000 households. The total investment is estimated at 174.8 million euros, with significant benefits for the local community, including road improvements. Eurowind plans to invest 1 billion euros in Romania by 2030, highlighting the country's importance in their portfolio. The company emphasizes the need for more renewable energy capacity in Romania to stabilize energy prices, similar to trends in Northern Europe.
