Dan Suciu, reacție după ce euro a sărit la un nivel record înaintea verdictului S&P: „Este o încercare dificilă”
The National Bank of Romania reported a significant drop in foreign reserves by 4.8 billion euros at the end of September, coinciding with the euro rising above 5.34 lei. BNR spokesperson Dan Suciu highlighted the challenges in balancing exchange rates and interest rates during this complex period. He noted that liquidity variations could impact economic financing. Suciu mentioned that some reserves were used for significant debt payments, indicating a turbulent month. He emphasized the need for reasonable management of currency fluctuations amidst ongoing social and political tensions. Despite uncertainties, he expressed hope for a positive evaluation regarding the country's credit rating, citing decreasing inflation and budget deficit as favorable factors.
