Dama Solar, the largest solar project in Europe, has received approval for its first phase, with a capacity of 1,044 MW. Developed by Rezolv Energy, it aims to power over 280,000 households and create 500 jobs. The project includes energy storage and will benefit from long-term energy contracts. Construction is expected to finish by 2028, with energy production starting in 2027.
