Dacia plans to expand its electric vehicle lineup with a new, larger version of the Spring, manufactured in Europe to qualify for subsidies. The current Spring model, imported from China, has limited sales due to subsidy exclusions in France. The new model will be built in Slovenia, offering a more robust design and competitive pricing. Dacia aims to launch four electric vehicles by 2030, starting with the new Spring priced at €17,900, with deliveries expected in early 2027. Despite a decline in sales in France, Dacia continues to grow overall, surpassing 10 million vehicles sold since 2004.
