Dacia și Ford opresc producția până pe 19 august. Bolojan: consumul de energie scade cu aproximativ 200 MW

Dacia and Ford have temporarily halted production until August 19 to alleviate pressure on Romania's energy system, reducing consumption by about 200 MW. This decision follows a meeting with major energy consumers amid ongoing energy supply issues due to drought and reduced hydro production. The government is encouraging other companies to adopt similar measures to manage peak demand, particularly in the evening hours when solar energy production declines. Additionally, interventions on the Danube are planned to support the operation of the Cernavodă nuclear power plant.
