Dacia își face propria centrală fotovoltaică la Mioveni

Dacia plans to build a photovoltaic power plant in Mioveni to enhance energy independence and reduce environmental impact. The project, funded by the Modernization Fund, aims to produce 9,094 MWh of renewable energy annually, covering 8% of the plant's needs. The total investment is 58.3 million lei, with nearly 10 million lei from non-repayable EU funds. Dacia's CEO, Mihai Bordeanu, has raised concerns about high energy costs affecting competitiveness, as production is expected to decline significantly by 2026. He urges the government for clearer policies to improve the situation, highlighting the need for Romania to regain its competitive edge in the automotive sector.
