Dacia Foundation for Romania allocates up to 1 million EUR to support 28 NGOs focusing on education, AI, job integration, and cultural access. The funding is part of the second edition of the "Mobility Matters" program, announced on October 12, 2026. Ten organizations continue previous projects, while 18 are new participants. The budget is divided into two categories: up to 300,000 EUR for ongoing projects and up to 700,000 EUR for new initiatives. The funded projects aim to reach over 15,000 beneficiaries nationwide, addressing barriers to education and employment, especially in rural areas and for people with disabilities. The foundation also presented an analysis highlighting family and community influences on access to opportunities, with education being the most urgent need identified by 79.3% of NGOs.
