On Tuesday afternoon, Romania experienced two minor earthquakes within seven minutes, measuring 2.2 and 2.3 in magnitude. The first quake occurred at 1:50 PM, 36 km northeast of Ploiești, while the second struck at 1:57 PM, 35 km from Ploiești. Earlier that day, a stronger earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hit the Vrancea region at 4:56 AM, with an epicenter located 57 km south of Focșani.
