Orange, the leading telecom provider in Romania, announced a voluntary departure program for employees amid market transformations. CEO Julien Ducarroz warned of stricter measures if the voluntary exits do not meet expectations. The company aims to adapt its operations to maintain competitiveness and improve customer service. Currently, Orange Romania employs around 3,931 people and reported a slight revenue increase in the first half of 2026. The business division saw significant growth in IT&C services, particularly in cybersecurity, reflecting rising demand for digital protection.
