A minor earthquake of magnitude 3.3 occurred in Vrancea County on Monday morning at 6:48 AM, according to INCDFP. The quake struck at a depth of 80.7 kilometers, near several cities including Focșani and Buzău. Since early September, Romania has experienced 18 earthquakes ranging from magnitudes 2 to 4.1. The strongest quake this year was a 4.5 magnitude event on February 26 in the same region.
