A minor earthquake measuring 3.1 occurred in Suceava County, Romania, early Friday morning, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics. The quake struck at a depth of 21.4 kilometers, located 34 km south of Suceava and affecting nearby cities. Since September, Romania has experienced 12 earthquakes ranging from magnitudes 2 to 4.1, with the strongest being 4.5 in February in Vrancea County.
