Curtea de Justiție a UE a respins cererea Poloniei de a suspenda de la aplicare Acordul Mercosur, până când instanța europeană se va pronunța pe cererea de anulare a acestuia

The Vice-President of the Court of Justice of the European Union denied Poland's request to suspend the provisional application of the EU-Mercosur trade agreement. Poland failed to sufficiently demonstrate that the decision would cause irreparable harm. The provisional agreement, which liberalizes trade and investment, is set to take effect on May 1, 2026. Poland argues that the agreement poses risks to health and the environment, as well as unfair competition for EU farmers. However, the court found no evidence to support these claims, allowing the agreement to proceed until a final ruling is made.
