Curtea de Apel București a anulat amenda de 363,98 milioane de lei aplicată Tinmar Energy de ANRE

Tinmar Energy successfully annulled a 364 million lei fine imposed by ANRE for alleged market manipulation. The ruling by the Bucharest Court of Appeal can be appealed. The fine was the largest of its kind in the EU for a supposed breach of REMIT regulations. The case originated from an ANRE investigation into two transactions with EFT Furnizare, which were deemed 'wash trades'. Tinmar's legal team argued that the ruling restores clarity in the energy market. The company has been active in the energy sector for over two decades and has maintained its innocence throughout the legal process.
