Cursul BNR de marți, 11 august. Leul s-a depreciat în raport cu euro şi dolarul american

The Romanian leu depreciated against major currencies, with the euro rising to 5.2424 lei and the dollar to 4.5444 lei. However, it appreciated against the Swiss franc. The price of gold increased as well. The National Bank of Romania noted that the leu has remained weaker against the euro but stable against the dollar. This depreciation impacts prices of imported goods and increases costs for euro-denominated loans.
