Cursă strânsă înaintea alegerilor din Israel - Donald Trump și-a desemnat favoritul

Donald Trump has publicly endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election ahead of the October 27 elections, calling him a "great wartime prime minister". This support comes just days before the elections, which are the first since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. Trump's previous hesitation to endorse Netanyahu was noted, as their positions diverged on issues like Iran and Gaza. Netanyahu faces a challenging election, with polls showing his Likud party trailing behind Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party. Following Trump's endorsement, Netanyahu expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing their collaboration.
