The Romanian National Bank reported a rise in the leu against the euro, US dollar, and British pound, while gold prices increased significantly. The euro fell to 5.2718 lei, and the US dollar decreased to 4.6289 lei. The Swiss franc also depreciated, while gold rose to 638.79 lei per gram, up by over 4 lei.
