On September 7, 2026, the Romanian National Bank reported a decrease in the euro and dollar exchange rates, while the Swiss franc and British pound saw slight increases. The euro was valued at 5.2508 lei, down from 5.2524 lei, and the dollar fell to 4.5182 lei from 4.5199 lei. Conversely, the Swiss franc rose to 5.5848 lei, and the British pound increased to 6.1159 lei. The exchange rate for 100 Hungarian forints was 1.4502 lei, up from 1.4464 lei.
