Cum vrea AEP ca românii să voteze inteligent

The head of the Permanent Electoral Authority, Adrian Ţuţuianu, announced proposals to modernize Romania's electoral logistics, including smart ballot boxes and eliminating stamps. These changes aim to reduce costs and improve the voting process. Ţuţuianu emphasized the need for urgent modernization of outdated voting procedures and equipment. Key proposals include implementing intelligent ballot boxes for automatic counting and replacing stamps with a simpler marking method. The AEP also suggests simplifying ballots to reduce bureaucracy and costs, displaying only party names and independent candidates. Pilot projects are planned for the fall to test these initiatives.
