AUR has proposed a legislative project to reduce the number of parliamentarians to 300, with specific representation ratios for the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Petrișor Peiu, AUR's senator leader, emphasized the intention to maintain a bicameral system without constitutional conflicts. Another similar project by senator Corneliu Negru was rejected by the Legal Commission. Both AUR and USR's proposals will be discussed in a working group with representatives from each party in the Chamber of Deputies.
