The local administration in Sector 3 is enhancing infrastructure by constructing an underground pedestrian passage connecting the Republic metro station to key areas. This project includes three corridors totaling 200 meters, facilitating access to the Hala Laminor square, Faur area, and Șoseaua Industriilor. The design features glass enclosures and urban gardens on the roofs, promoting green spaces. Construction is organized to avoid traffic disruptions, using prefabricated beams to expedite the process.
