The PNL and USR plan to submit a new integrity law project after the Senate rejected the previous one due to last-minute amendments from PSD. Mircea Abrudean stated that the amendments would have made the law unconstitutional and jeopardized a significant funding milestone. The new proposal will exclude the controversial amendments and aims for approval by the end of the month to secure PNRR funds. Abrudean expressed confidence that political consensus will facilitate the necessary extraordinary sessions to finalize the funding requirements.
