The drill aimed to prepare them for real-life emergencies, focusing on coordination and response efficiency. The team, part of the RO GFFF-V module, is stationed in Greece to assist with wildfire management during the summer season. Their training includes physical preparation and reconnaissance of high-risk areas. Previous missions have already seen them respond to actual wildfires, enhancing their skills and experience for future interventions both in Greece and Romania. The ongoing program emphasizes pre-positioning resources to ensure rapid response to emergencies.
