OMV Petrom and Romgaz have completed the installation of the Neptun Alpha production platform in the Black Sea, aiming for gas extraction to start in 2027. The platform, weighing 16,500 tons, is a key component of the Neptun Deep project, which includes 10 development wells and a 160 km pipeline to the shore. The project is progressing with the installation of subsea infrastructure and rigorous testing planned before production begins.
