Cum pot ajunge produsele locale din județul Brașov pe mesele elevilor și în piețele din oraș • Social Biz Brasov

WWF-România, Brașov City Hall, and Transilvania University gathered nearly 60 representatives to discuss enhancing local and eco-friendly products' accessibility in Brașov County. The workshop aimed to foster dialogue among local food system actors, focusing on solutions for a more inclusive and sustainable food system. Key topics included improving local producers' access to sales channels and public procurement processes. A WWF survey highlighted consumer barriers such as distrust and high prices, while suggesting more markets could enhance local product accessibility. Initiatives like educational greenhouses and online promotion of local producers are already underway in Brașov, supported by the FoodCLIC project, which aims to strengthen urban-rural connections and involve all food system stakeholders in local policy development.
