Cum poate deveni mașina electrică salvarea în timpul unui blackout, și chiar o sursă de bani
Extreme weather events in Europe are increasing power outages, prompting homeowners to seek alternative energy sources. Electric vehicles (EVs) can serve as backup power for homes during outages and can even feed energy back to the grid, potentially generating income for owners. The Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology allows EV batteries to store excess renewable energy and supply it back to the grid when needed. This could save the European energy system billions annually. Major automakers are developing V2G solutions, with Volkswagen planning a service in Germany by 2026. While the technology shows promise, it currently faces limitations regarding compatibility and installation costs.
