The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) held an event in Bucharest focusing on strengthening the food and agro-industrial sectors in Romania. Titled "Building Resilience and Unlocking Capital: Financing the Future of Business," the event featured discussions on the challenges faced by the private sector. Key speakers included EBRD's Victoria Zinchuk, who emphasized the need for a strong private sector for sustainable economic growth. Participants included top companies and investors from the food and agricultural sectors. The discussions highlighted the importance of adapting business strategies to changing market conditions and the role of capital markets in supporting long-term competitiveness and sustainability. EBRD's commitment to the private sector in Romania was evident, having invested nearly 13 billion euros in over 600 projects, primarily in the private sector.
