Cum încearcă tinerii specialiști să salveze ultimele case cu acoperiș de paie din Munții Apuseni
The second edition of the 'Alba Vernaculară' Summer School documented 22 barns and 5 thatched houses in Întregalde, focusing on vernacular architecture in the Apuseni Mountains. Participants included 30 specialists and students from various fields who assessed the condition of these wooden structures and studied traditional construction techniques. The project aims to promote and preserve local architectural heritage. Previous year's edition documented 34 similar barns, highlighting their historical significance from the late 19th to early 20th century. Many structures are still in use, while others face deterioration.
