In CEE, 77% of banks apply AI in customer service and 71% in product development. The study by Visa highlights that banks focusing on operational efficiency and employee productivity are leading in AI investments. In Romania, major banks like Banca Transilvania and BCR are implementing AI for process automation, fraud prevention, and customer personalization. The findings indicate varying levels of AI adoption across different banking sectors, with a strong emphasis on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
