The plant's two Soviet-type reactors are currently operating normally, relying on Danube water for cooling. Meanwhile, Hungary has suspended operations at its Paks nuclear plant, and Romania has halted Unit 1 at Cernavodă, with potential plans to shut down Unit 2 soon.
