A Romanian-Moldovan network illegally smuggled over 6 million cigarettes from Ukraine and Moldova. Authorities conducted 79 raids across Bucharest and six counties. The organized group, formed in November 2025, involved 31 members who coordinated the supply, transport, and distribution of the cigarettes. Investigators are continuing their efforts to gather evidence and question suspects.
