Despite a 10% decrease in subsidies compared to 2025, transparency regarding the final beneficiaries of these funds remains a significant issue. Expert Forum's analysis highlights that while the Electoral Authority publishes spending categories, details on contract beneficiaries are lacking, undermining public trust. The largest subsidies went to PSD, followed by AUR and PNL. Most funds were allocated to media and propaganda, with notable differences in spending strategies among parties. Recommendations include reducing subsidies and enhancing transparency.
