In September, 869 insolvency cases were opened in Romania, with around 200 in Bucharest, which accounted for 22% of the total. The high number in Bucharest reflects its economic concentration and business activity. In contrast, Ilfov and Timiș counties saw decreases in insolvency cases. Cluj experienced a 20% increase, while Constanța reported a 112% rise. Various sectors, particularly construction and transport, showed significant increases in insolvency filings, attributed to long payment terms and rising fuel costs.
