The restoration of the E Building, home to the Faculty of History, includes structural reinforcement and the recreation of lost sculptural elements. Funded by the Ministry of Development, the project started in 2023 and aims to modernize facilities while preserving historical features. Key interventions span from the foundation to the roof, ensuring safety standards are met. Notable restorations include the crowned eagle and griffins on the facade, enhancing the building's monumental composition. Additionally, electrical, sanitary, and thermal systems are being upgraded, alongside fire safety measures. The project aligns with the current needs of the University of Bucharest while maintaining the building's historical integrity.
