Cum arată noile măsuri de asigurare a apei la Centrala de la Cernavodă. Mai multe nave și barje vor fi amplasate pe 600 de metri

The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) has implemented new measures to ensure water flow for the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant due to expected low Danube levels starting September 10. Initially, several ships and barges will be positioned to direct water towards the canal and the plant. The second phase involves creating a modular closure with pontoons and hydro-barriers. If these measures are insufficient, high-capacity pumps will be activated to supply additional water. The plan aims to adapt to the Danube's water level fluctuations and maintain safe operations at the plant during low flow periods.
