The modernization of Emanuil Gojdu National College in Oradea is over 95% complete, with reception scheduled for August 12. Nearly 1,200 students will start the new school year in a fully rehabilitated building. The project, initially set for two years, was expedited to meet funding deadlines. The renovations, costing 36.4 million lei, included restoring historical features while upgrading facilities. Despite challenges during construction, the school improved its national ranking. New equipment will enhance learning environments, and further investments in education infrastructure are planned.
