Cum ar putea ajunge produsele mai multor fermieri români în școli și spitale? Corn, lapte și licitații verzi
WWF has initiated a program to connect local farmers with schools and hospitals in Romania, focusing on educating children about food sources. The Cățean farm in Rotbav hosts thousands of children annually, teaching them about agriculture and food production. The farm emphasizes the importance of understanding food origins and promotes local products through educational visits and markets. In collaboration with WWF, farmers are learning to navigate public procurement processes to sell their products in schools and hospitals, aiming to increase local food consumption. The initiative also addresses misconceptions about farming and encourages youth involvement in agriculture.
