Human Library is a project that allows individuals to engage in direct conversations with volunteers sharing their personal experiences, aiming to challenge stereotypes. Originating in Copenhagen in 2000, it has expanded to over 85 countries, including Romania. Participants can 'borrow' a 'human book' for about 30 minutes to ask questions on various topics, fostering understanding and empathy. The initiative also includes editions for children, promoting discussions on diverse experiences. Upcoming events are scheduled in various European cities, including Bucharest.
