The "Chess in School" program has reached over 150,000 children across more than 30 counties in Romania, distributing free chess manuals and boards. Coordinated by Vlad Ungureanu, the initiative aims to enhance cognitive skills and mathematical understanding through chess lessons. Since its launch in 2021, the program has provided valuable resources and support to schools, emphasizing the importance of learning through play. Ungureanu highlights that chess helps children develop problem-solving skills applicable in everyday life, with numerous events planned to further engage students.
