He stated that the motion of censure was initiated by AUR and PSD leaders, and he, along with Marian Neacșu, drafted the motion. Peiu emphasized that over 280 parliamentarians voted for the government's dismissal, and Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle was not involved in any discussions or decisions. This statement comes after a Wall Street Journal article suggested Guilfoyle claimed the U.S. could influence government changes in Romania.
