CultMin Demeter on Romania attending Frankfurt Book Fair 2028: I am waiting for a Publishers' Association proposal

The interim Minister of Culture, Andras Istvan Demeter, is awaiting a proposal from the Romanian Publishers' Association regarding Romania's participation as guest of honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2028. If no proposal is received, the responsibility will fall to the Office of Film and Cultural Investments (OFIC). Demeter expressed concerns about AER's capability to manage the project and emphasized the need for collaboration among various cultural organizations. OFIC's manager, Valentin Savu, highlighted the importance of dialogue in coordinating the project and the necessity of a government decision to move forward.
