Cuba, lovită de o nouă pană de curent masivă: „S-a produs o deconectare totală a reţelei electrice”

Cuba experienced a nationwide power outage on Friday, the seventh this year, due to severe fuel shortages. The Energy and Mines Ministry reported a total disconnection of the electrical grid without specifying the cause. Since 2026, the country has faced repeated power interruptions linked to aging power plants and long-standing infrastructure issues. Authorities have not yet provided a plan for restoring full electricity supply. The island, home to 9.4 million people, has seen twelve major outages since late 2024.
