Cu cât cresc facturile la energie în această toamnă. Bușoi: „Majorarea va fi semnificativă”
Electricity prices in Romania are expected to rise this autumn due to high natural gas prices and prolonged outages at Cernavodă reactors. Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, indicated that while a 50% increase is not supported by current data, significant price hikes are anticipated. The exact impact on bills remains uncertain as the duration of the reactor outages is unknown. Bușoi noted that energy purchased to cover the nuclear production deficit is considerably more expensive, especially during peak hours. Despite these challenges, he assured that there is no immediate risk of electricity supply issues. The government is also focusing on supporting vulnerable consumers amid potential price increases.
