Cu cât au contribuit instalațiile de stocare la sistemul energetic național pe vârf de consum? Puterea lor instalată a crescut de peste șapte ori în ultimul an și jumătate

Romania is currently exporting nearly 350 MW of electricity, with a significant solar energy production. The need for energy storage has intensified due to an energy alert following the shutdown of a reactor at Cernavoda and reduced hydroelectric output. Storage facilities, which are crucial for balancing supply and demand, have increased significantly, with installed capacity now at 989 MW, surpassing a Cernavoda reactor's capacity. During peak consumption, storage units contributed approximately 600 MW to the national grid. As of now, Romania's energy consumption exceeds production, leading to energy imports.
