Interim Minister Cseke Attila clarified that there is no incompatibility between being a local or county councilor and holding a contractual position in public administration. He stated that a specialized document, validated by the National Integrity Agency, confirms this interpretation. Cseke emphasized that misinformation regarding incompatibility had circulated in the administrative environment, and urged local authorities to verify information with official sources. Additionally, USR requested the National Integrity Agency to urgently publish the status of councilors who hold both elected positions and public employment.
