Croitorul discret al Europei: ce mai produce industria textilă din România și de ce nu reușește să păstreze valoarea

Romania plays a significant role in the European fashion industry, producing high-quality garments for international brands, yet it retains only a small portion of the final product's value. The country has specialized workers and factories capable of meeting Western standards, but it primarily operates under a 'lohn' system, where it handles labor-intensive tasks while design and branding remain with foreign clients. This model has led to dependency and limited profit margins for Romanian manufacturers. Despite challenges such as rising costs and competition from other countries, Romania's proximity to European markets and ability to produce complex items can be leveraged for future growth. However, the lack of recognition for 'Made in Romania' hampers its potential, as consumers often associate value with established foreign brands rather than local production.
